EMPOWERING GIRL CHILDREN WITH KNOWLEDGE TO MAKE REUSABLE PADS
We recognize that many young girls face significant challenges in accessing basic menstrual hygiene products, which can severely impact their health, education, and overall well-being. Understanding this critical issue, we are committed to playing an active role in alleviating these difficulties and making their daily lives a little easier and more dignified.
More importantly, we believe in the transformative power of knowledge and skills as tools for empowerment. That is why on 15/08/2026, we will be organizing a hands-on workshop to teach girl children in 10 carefully selected schools across Masabaland how to create reusable sanitary pads. This practical skill will not only enable them to manage their own menstrual hygiene effectively but also foster a strong sense of independence and self-sufficiency.
By equipping these girls with the ability to produce affordable, sustainable sanitary products, we aim to break down barriers related to stigma and financial constraints while promoting confidence and resilience within their communities.
Join us in promoting unity, healthy, economic growth, and access to education and clean water for the Bamasaba community. Explore our impactful projects today.
