Membership requirements for eligibility
categories of members
Being individuals, Organizations, foundations who believe and uphold the values and principles of this Organization and who have paid full membership fee and subscription fee for the current year.
Being all Organizations carrying out humanitarian work jointly or in any way with the Organization.
Being individuals, foundations and Organizations, who/which have made outstanding contributions and service to the growth and development of the Organization.
Development Foundation Uganda is non-religious voluntary, charitable, non-profit making, non-partisan, non-racial development umbrella Organization, whose policies are determined by the membership and whose leadership is accountable to the members in terms of the procedures laid down in this constitution.
Rights of members
- Take part in the formulation and discussion of the Organisation policy and program implementation
- Be elected to any, committee or delegation of the Organisation
- Actively participate in all Organisation activities in accordance with the relevant provisions of this memorandum
- Honorary members and associate members are not eligible to vote
OBLIGATIONS of members
- Belong to and actively take part in activities of the Organisation
- Pay membership fees of 50,000/ once a person joins the foundation
- iii)Make all necessary steps to understand the aims objectives and programmers of the Organization
- iv)React against financial misappropriation and divergence from the objects of the Organization.
- Deepen their understanding of the development issues and problems pertaining to all men, women and girl children locally and internationally
- Be disciplined and exhibit exemplary behaviors within the Organization and maintain harmonious relations with all members of the Organization and the public as a whole
- To exchange views and ideas pertaining the state, growth, development and prospects of fellow human beings
